Lane restrictions across three junctions of the M1 will be in force from Sunday night.
The Highways Agency have confirmed they will be carrying out survey work on the road between junction 23a and junction 25 from Sunday night until March.
The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and will only be in force overnight and during weekends.
A spokeswoman for Highways Agency said: "There will be various lane and slip road restrictions but no full closures, so road users can continue their journey using this route.
"The work is necessary to enable survey work to be undertaken and we are doing it overnight to minimise disruption to road users."
