An oil rig worker from Nottingham was the catch of the day on ITV's dating show Take Me Out on Saturday night.
Colin Millar, who told the 30 female contestants he had a passion for tennis and camping, chose Melanie for his date after being tasked to choose between four females at the end of the show.
The 30-year-old's initial entrance made a good impression on the women, with only four turning off their lights to count themselves out of the race for his heart.
But the lights were quickly turned off as it was revealed Colin has a love for camping - as well as the odd bit of skinny dipping.
Colin, who works as a drilling contractor in the North Sea, said he applied to go on the show as a laugh.
He said: "I just applied one day and they offered me an audition. I wasn't really looking for love.
"I went to the main audition in Manchester where we had to re-enact the show and fill out application forms.
"I was quite confident with my one-liners at the audition, but once I got out on the real show I wanted to get off the stage.
"But I'm so glad I did it, it was a good experience."
The lothario had chosen Danni as his "love at first light" as he walked on to the show, but will now go on a date with Melanie to the show's Isle of Fernando's.
Around 100 of his fellow workers crowded into a cinema room on an oil rig to watch the show.
He will be appearing on the show again next weekend, when he will reveal how well the date went with Melanie.
