Roy Keane, Brian McDermott and Tim Sherwood were at the City Ground as Nottingham Forest lost to Sheffield Wednesday. So what?
I understand a lot of people will put two and two together and think two out-of-work managers and Republic of Ireland No.2 Keane turning up for a game at a time when Reds' boss Stuart Pearce is under pressure means Pearce is going to be sacked and replaced with one of them.
But I don't think that at all, I'm not reading anything into their presence for the 2-0 defeat to the Owls, even though it means Forest have now won just two of their last 20 games and are now closer to the relegation places than the play-offs.
Jobless managers are always going to games.
Keane, McDermott and Sherwood might well think it is a good idea for them to go and watch the Reds just in case Fawaz Al Hasawi does decide he wants a change of manager.
But that doesn't mean Forest's Kuwaiti owner is thinking that.
The truth is nobody knows what he's thinking – and what he thinks is all that matters because he's the one who does the hiring and firing at the City Ground.
And anyway, who says the three managers were not just there to watch a match?
Like I said, I'm not going to read anything into it.
As far as I'm concerned Pearce is the manager and he's trying his best to spark the team back into life.
And besides, I wouldn't want Keane or Sherwood in charge of Forest anyway.
Keane might have been a great player for Forest and Manchester United, but he's not got a great track record as a manager, while Sherwood has almost zero experience.
McDermott has done well in the past, but, like I said, Pearce is the manager and, for me, we all have to stick with him.
