An elderly woman was cut free from a car after a crash involving two vehicles.
The incident happened on Tithby Road, in Bingham and involved three other people, who had got out of the cars before the arrival of the emergency services.
The woman was taken to hospital by ambulance suffering from chest and back pain.
A spokeswoman for Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "This was a special service call and the alarm was caused by two cars in collision and in collision with road furniture."
Fire appliances from Bingham, West Bridgford and Highfields attended the incident, which happened around 2.15pm on Sunday.
