The body of a missing 39-year-old woman has been found in Nottinghamshire.
Emily Holloway, from Lincoln, was reported missing in December and was last seen when she took a taxi to Yarborough Road, in Newark, on December 2.
A body was found at Nether Lock, in Newark, on January 7 and Nottinghamshire Police informed their colleagues in Lincolnshire .
The two police forces launched a joint investigation following her disappearance.
Officers have now confirmed the body to be that of missing Emily Holloway after formal identification and her next of kin have been informed.
Her death is not being treated as suspicious. A file is being prepared by the coroner and an inquest will be carried out in due course.
Lincolnshire Police said they are extending their condolences to Emily's family and their gratitude to everyone who helped circulate the appeal to find her.
