PEOPLE in the city are being reminded of changes to bin collection times over Christmas and New Year.
There will be no collections on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.
Next week, areas where bins are collected on Mondays will have a collection this Saturday. dec22 Those whose collection is normally on a Tuesday will have a collection on Sunday, dec23 while those who have a Wednesday collection will have their bin emptied on Monday. dec 24
Collections will be as normal on December 27 and 28.
Collections due on December 31 will be carried out on Saturday, December 29, while those due on January 1 will be done on Monday, December 31.
Councillor Alex Norris, portfolio holder for area working, cleansing and community safety at Nottingham City Council, said: "The new schedule is designed to make things as simple as possible and to make sure that nobody has to wait too long for their bins to be collected. In fact, where there are changes, bins will be collected earlier than the routine day."
