Ice hockey fans in Nottingham cast rivalries aside for a fleeting moment to show their backing for a fellow supporter who is battling cancer.
Amy Usher, 21, is a Sheffield Steelers supporter who has become an inspirational figure for her fight against Liposarcoma – oesophageal cancer.
She suffered a setback in her battle this week, prompting fans across the country to show their support in the 21st minute.
That was the case as Nottingham Panthers took on the Steelers at the National Ice Centre and both sets of supporters made some noise.
Former Steelers player Chris Blight set up a fund for Usher to treat herself to a gift of her choice this week. Donations can be made at http://www.gofundme.com/mb6s6o.
Steelers media man David Simms is part of a group taking part in a walk from Birmingham to Sheffield to raise funds for Weston Park Cancer Charity, where Usher has been treated. Donations can be made at https://www.justgiving.com/simmsey-and-friends/
