The Met Office has issued a severe weather warning for heavy rain in Nottingham for tonight and tomorrow.
The warning is valid from 3am tomorrow morning, until 6pm on Thursday evening.
The Met Office website said: "An area of heavy rain is expected to spread northeastwards across parts of England and Wales during the first part of Thursday.
"Given that the ground is already saturated in many areas, the public should be aware of the risk of flooding."
Temperatures will only drop to five degrees C overnight, but there will be strong gusts of wind of up to 30mph.
