Flood warnings have been issued for the River Trent at Sawley Marina and Sawley lock.
The B6540 Tamworth Road at Sawley also remains at risk of flooding.
River levels are currently steady but further rainfall is expected over the next 24 hours.
Rain is forecast for Tuesday afternoon and will become heavier in the early hours of Wednesday morning from midnight through to around 9.00 am.
