Long delays are holding up traffic on the A453 going in to Nottingham this morning.
Congestion is heavier than usual approaching Clifton, with delays of up to 20 minutes.
Bus Company NCT said the delays were being caused by an earlier road accident on the Clifton Bridge. Bus services are otherwise running as normal this morning.
Traffic is also very busy on the A52 west bound in the area of the Nottingham Knight roundabout, with delays of about 13 minutes in this area.
Trains in and out of Nottingham station are currently running as normal.
