A CITY centre pub erupted in chaos when 19 men started fighting after a Notts County football match.
The trouble broke out in The Square, known as Squares, after Sheffield Wednesday had beaten Notts County 2-1 at Meadow Lane on March 17 last year.
Punches, plastic glasses and furniture were thrown in the fight and innocent bystanders were hurt.
Police were called to the incident at the pub in The Poultry at about 6.30pm, but most of the men fled.
Officers tracked them down, however, by scouring hours of city CCTV and all of them have now appeared at Nottingham Crown Court for sentencing.
The brawl began when a group of Sheffield men attacked another group.
The pub was full at the time, with a number of people celebrating St Patrick's Day or watching a Six Nations rugby match on big screens.
The fight lasted around two minutes, but no one was seriously injured.
Superintendent Mark Holland, in charge of policing football in Notts, said: "While there was clear provocation from the Sheffield group, the Nottingham men used violence that went far beyond what would have been deemed as reasonable defence of themselves.
"This should be a lesson to anyone who thinks any type of violence is acceptable. It isn't – certainly not in a busy pub."
"If you are a football fan we will also seek to ban you from games."
The Notts men all admitted affray and were sentenced as follows:
Paul Simon Webster, 46, of Rowe Gardens, Bulwell, got an eight-month jail term, suspended for 18 months, 200 hours of unpaid work and £200 in costs.
Ross Smith, 22, of Bainton Grove, Clifton, got 200 hours of unpaid work and £200 costs.
Karl Neil Rowlett, 23, of Wilford Grove, Nottingham, 180 hours of unpaid work and £200 costs.
Lewis Betts, 21, of Wheatacre Road in Clifton, got 200 hours of unpaid work.
Reece Moore, 20, of Mona Road in West Bridgford, got 200 hours of unpaid work.
Kyle Harris, 20, of Fairmaid Grove in Clifton, got 200 hours of unpaid work.
Stephen Lee Glover, 38, of Kersall Drive in Bestwood got 180 hours of unpaid work.
Jordan Derek Rickett, 22, of Rosegarth Walk in Basford, got 180 hours of unpaid work.
Darren Wayne Handley, 44, of Radford Road, Whitemoor, got 160 hours of unpaid work.
The ten Sheffield men also got a range of community sentences, football banning orders and fines.
