Nottingham's hospitals are helping to offer young people training and work experience in the NHS.
Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (NUH) is working in partnership with the Prince's Trust to run the 'Get into Hospital Services' programme.
The scheme is four weeks long and provides unemployed people aged 16-25 the opportunity to work in a variety of roles in a specific sector.
The free training programme will be begin on Monday, March 4 and will see 13 participants working in roles supporting clinical services across NUH including linen services, catering services, cleaning services and human resources.
Participants will learn a number of skills relevant to careers within the NHS including problem solving, team work, communication, time management and customer services. Participants will also receive training in interview skills and CV writing to enhance the chances of securing future work.
