A MAN is to appear in court next week charged with stealing cars worth £29,000.
Russell Thorne, 35, of no fixed address, is accused of a series of thefts, including stealing two cars.
He allegedly took a black Vauxhall Astra worth £24,000 on February 21 last year and an Audi A3, worth £5,000, in Hucknall, on February 15 this year.
It is claimed he also stole keys from a property in Storth Avenue, Hucknall, on February 15; a black television from the Bowman pub, Hucknall, on February 19 and car keys from the ladies changing rooms at Hucknall Leisure Centre on February 21.
He has been remanded in custody to appear via video link at Nottingham Crown Court on Friday, March 15.
