Gedling Borough Council

I would like to raise a point about the unfairness of the rate of Pay to the Refuse Loaders of Gedling Borough Council. These Guys Have to work very hard for a paltry £6.22 per Hour. It has been roughly 4 years since these people have had a pay rise! Bear in mind the National Minimum wage is £6.19 and Gedling pays its Refuse Loaders £6.22, Not Much Difference is there?. In the Meantime, Gedlings Coucillors have spent cash on New Dustcarts, new Computers to go in the dustcarts, new banksman reversal aid Computers in each truck, plus solar panels, which cost £90,000 alone! Yet the Councillors say they do not have the funding to place these guys on at least the Living wage!!!. You can bet the councillors and the executives are not suffering on £6.22
