MANY of the main arterial routes into the city are heavily congested this morning.
The A52 coming into the city is busy from both directions, particularly at the Saxondale Island, QMC Island and Derby Road.
Slow traffic is also to be expected on the A610 inbound in at Nutthall Island.
There are dangerous conditions, due to the weather, on the A38 in Mansfield and a a traffic light failure has seen traffic build up on the A60, Mansfield Road, going into Mansfield.
Some flights from East Midlands Airport are delayed but none are yet cancelled.
