A ST ANN'S man was due in court today for having too tinted windows on an Audi A3.

Timothy Sobers, 34, of Salford Gardens, pleaded guilty to driving around in the 2005-reg Audi in Hungerhill Road, St Ann's, without windows that were legally acceptable on May 3 last year.

The tinted windows were not allowing enough light into the vehicle, Nottingham Magistrates' Court has heard.

The level of light in the car was 29%, when the legal limit is 70%.

Using the car in this way "involved a danger of injury" to any person, according to the road traffic charge he has admitted.

He has also admitted he drove the car with the same offending windows in Ilkeston Road, Radford, on May 12 last year.
