POLICE have launched an appeal after burglars broke into the safe of a Notts sandwich shop.
Three men broke into Subway, off Top Valley Way, near the Tesco store, in Top Valley, sometime between 1am and 3am on Wednesday, March 6.
Detectives said they got in to the safe and stole cash.
Officers say there may have been people around at the time as the Tesco is open 24 hours.
They are asking for anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, to contact them on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
