CHRIS Kiwomya has told the Post he is close to finalising his backroom team at Notts County.
The Magpies' boss has been helped out by coach Dean Austin since he took charge at Meadow Lane back in February.
Former Nottingham Forest midfielder Steve Hodge has also worked with the club's development squad, which Kiwomya did before being promoted into the first-team hot-seat when Keith Curle was sacked.
Kiwomya is eager to have his own team in place now he has been given a three-year deal to help him drive the club forward from the start of next season and he said: "We're nearly there."
Kiwomya has revealed he has also made his mind up over the future of some of the 16 players, who are out of contract at Meadow Lane at the end of the season.
"I have got my ideas about some of the players who will be leaving or won't be offered contracts, but there are still three games to go and I might change my mind if they can deliver on the pitch," he said.
"Some of the players, I've got to see if they want to go.
"Some of them might say they want to stay, but that will be something I have to eye up.
"I have to go with what I think is right for the club to move forward and in the direction I want to take it.
"There will be a lot of changes at the club and I want a team out there that will reflect me.
"This team is not a bad team, we've got some good players, but we just haven't been able to fulfil at the top end really when it's come down to the crunch.
"We've got 16 players out of contract so some of them might not want to stay, some of them will, some of them we might not be able to afford, there are all of those kind of scenarios.
"My team will be attacking and hard working."
