A special 50th anniversary performance of Hi-de-Hi by the Bonington Players will take place from Wednesday to Saturday next week at the Redhill Academy.
The show, an adaptation of the original TV hit series, starts at 7.30pm each night from April 24-27, and will feature Jeff Casterton, one of the original members of the Bonington Players.
He played the juvenile lead in the 1963 production Queen Elizabeth Slept Here and this time round will take on the role of ballroom-dancing yellowcoat Barry Stuart-Hargreaves.
Jeff's wife Ruth, who was also involved in the first Bonington Players production in 1963, will be working backstage.
The Players were forced to change venue at the eleventh hour after an extension to the refurbishment of their home, the Bonington Theatre.
More than 300 tickets have been sold already, but there is still chance to pick them up from the Bonington Theatre box office, or by calling 0115 956 0733.
