UNION members are to remember those who have lost their lives at work in Nottingham.
Unison East Midlands is planning a gathering to mark this year's national Workers Memorial Day later this month.
Members will gather outside St Peter's Church, in St. Peter's Square, Nottingham city centre, at 11.30am on Monday, April 29 in support of the event.
They plan to lay pairs of shoes around the church railings and inside the church to symbolise the people that have lost their lives at work.
It will be followed by a church service at noon, and a vigil outside the church where poems will be read and candles lit in remembrance.
