A man is in a serious condition after he was assaulted.
Police were called to Buzz Bar, in the High Street, Long Eaton, at around 7.40pm last night.
The 20-year-old victim was taken to the Queen's Medical Centre, where he remains in a serious condition having suffered a head injury.
Police believe he was assaulted at the back of Buzz Bar, in Clifford Street.
A police cordon will remain in Clifford Street today as enquiries continue.
