Nottingham Forest v Leicester: Team news

Forest: Chris Cohen is the main concern for the Reds, with the defender struggling to shake off a thigh problem.

It is unlikely that he will be risked against Leicester, with Dan Harding more likely to retain his position at left back, following an impressive display at Millwall last weekend.

Forest will also be without Gonzalo Jara and Sam Hutchinson, with both defenders ruled out with knee problems. So Greg Halford will retain his position at right back, with Danny Collins and Elliott Ward in the centre of the back four.

Forest do have Darius Henderson available again after sitting out a three-match ban following his controversial sending off at Cardiff.

Manager Billy Davies must decide whether to recall him to the side or stick with Simon Cox and Billy Sharp up front.

Leicester: The Foxes' only injury concern is over Paul Konchesky. The former Forest man is a major doubt and may have to be replaced at left back.

If he does fail a fitness test, Jeff Schlupp, who had been playing up front, will move back into defence to take his place.

But manager Nigel Pearson may be considering making changes to his front line anyway, as he ponders recalling experienced striker David Nugent.

Nugent will be a familiar figure to Reds boss Billy Davies, who managed him at Preston North End.

Former Forest defender Wes Morgan is likely to skipper the side in the heart of defence.
