KERRY Christie, 48, of Failsworth Close, Clifton, denied assaulting a male in New Basford. At Nottingham Magistrates' Court she was given unconditional bail until her trial on July 5.
JOHN-CONOR MacDonald, 21, of Cross Street, Newark, has been fined £300 for drink-driving. Magistrates in Nottingham heard he was driving a Rover 25 car in Marsh Lane, Farndon, on February 24. He had 100 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood. The legal limit is 80. As well as the fine, he is required to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and costs of £85. He was banned from driving for 12 months.
CONNOR Moon, 20, of Chatsworth Road, Newark, pleaded guilty to drink-driving. He had been in a Peugeot 307 in Southend Avenue, Newark, when he was over the limit on April 14. He had 46 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath – the legal limit is 35. He was ordered to pay a fine of £110, a £20 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Nottingham Magistrates' Court disqualified him from driving for 15 months. No separate penalty was imposed for driving the Peugeot without a licence or insurance on April 14, which he also admitted.
ASHLEY Robinson, 31, of Queens Road, Nottingham, will appear at Nottingham Magistrates' Court on May 14. He is on unconditional bail charged with using threatening behaviour in Nottingham on November 2 last year.
KYLE Sullivan, 27, of Meering Avenue, Newark, has been fined £110 for drink-driving. He was in a Ford Transit Tipper vehicle in Mather Road, Newark, when he was over the limit on April 14 this year. Magistrates in Nottingham heard he had 51 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, when the legal limit is 35. He has been ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. A driving disqualification of 12 months was imposed.
LARNIE Tucker, 27, of Warren Hill Close, Arnold, was banned from driving for 15 months. Nottingham Magistrates' Court heard she was drink-driving in a Renault Megane in Old Basford on April 16 this year. She had 63 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, when the legal limit is 35. She was fined £275, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £28 and costs of £85. She was disqualified from driving for 15 months.
A MAN from Strelley is contesting that he was drunk and disorderly in Maid Marian Way, Nottingham, on April 13. Brian Tuckwood, 56, of Blidworth Close, will have a trial at Nottingham Magistrates' Court on July 16. He is on unconditional bail.
NIGEL Wilcockson , 42, of Portland Road, Giltbrook, has been fined £350 for drink-driving. He admitted he was over the limit in Nottingham Road, Giltbrook, on April 16 this year. His reading was 82 micrograms in 100 millilitres of breath, when the legal limit is 35. Magistrates in Nottingham imposed the fine, a victim surcharge of £35 and costs of £85. He was sentenced after he pleaded guilty to the charge. As well as the financial penalties, he has been banned from driving for 15 months.
JOHN Winter, 19, of Montgomery Road, Newark, denied using threatening behaviour in Newark on Christmas Day. His case was listed for a trial at Nottingham Magistrates' Court on July 22. He is on unconditional bail.
MELISSA Neill, 21, of Raymede Drive, Bestwood Estate, received a community order when she appeared at Nottingham Magistrates' Court. She admitted she failed to notify the Department for Work and Pensions that she was working between December 25, 2009, and January 26, 2012. This would have affected her entitlement to Jobseeker's Allowance, the court heard. Neill was ordered to comply with a three-month curfew, from April 26 to July 26. She has to remain at her address between 7pm and 7am daily. She will also be tagged during. Magistrates further ordered that she pay costs of £20.
CHANTELLE Raynor, 23, of Foxhill Road, Carlton, has been conditionally discharged for six months. She pleaded guilty to failing to inform Gedling Council and the Department for Work and Pensions about a change in her circumstances. She was living in the same household as a man, Nottingham Magistrates' Court heard, and this would have affected her entitlement to housing benefit and income support.
DENISE Stirland, 49, of Ribblesdale Court, Beeston, was fined £200 for not having a colour television licence. The case was proved in her absence at Nottingham Magistrates' Court. She had no licence at her home address on November 2 last year. As well as the fine, she has to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and costs of £90.
MELANIE Toplis, 24, of Gibbons Avenue, Stapleford, has been fined £200 by magistrates in Nottingham. She did not have a licence to watch television at her home on October 30. The case was proved in her absence. She must also pay a victim surcharge of £20 and costs of £90.
CAROLINE Wagg , 41, of Salterford Road, Hucknall, was fined £200 for not having a television licence on September 5 last year. The case was proved in her absence at Nottingham Magistrates' Court. She is further required to pay a victim surcharge of £15 and costs of £90.
A RADFORD man has been fined £110 for driving without due care and attention. Abraham Calonge , 23, of Noel Street, admitted he had been driving in Ward Street, Hyson Green, when the offence happened on November 20 last year. As well as the fine, he must pay compensation of £50, a victim surcharge of £20 and costs of £20. He was banned from driving for six months. Calonge also pleaded guilty to failing to report or stop after an accident, driving without a licence and without insurance in Ward Street on November 20. No separate penalty was imposed for these offences at Nottingham Magistrates' Court.
TIMOTHY Brown, 39, of Westville Gardens, St Ann's, was found guilty of using threatening behaviour in Nottingham last November. Magistrates in Nottingham handed him a fine of £150, a victim surcharge to pay of £15 and costs of £300.
