EASTWOOD Town have continued rebuilding their team for next season by signing former Mansfield Town defender Rob McCormick on a one-year deal.
"It is a great capture for the club," said joint manager Nick Hawkins. "He is a much-sought after player and we fought off stiff competition for him.
"We have shown our ambition for the forthcoming season and are delighted that Rob has agreed terms."
McCormick, who was captain at Shepshed, said it was great to back at Step 4 level.
"After speaking with Eastwood I felt it was the right club to be at," he said.
"It is one of the biggest clubs in non-league locally and I have ambition of getting back into full time football myself.
"I see that there is an Academy in place and the plans for the club to match my ambitions"
