TRAM users in Nottingham can now save money on fares by purchasing a 30-day ticket online.
Customers can pay by credit or debit card for the tickets which are available at www.thetram.net.
The pass will then be posted within three days.
Jamie Swift, NET marketing manager, said: "The online payment system has been introduced in response to feedback from customers who want to buy their tickets in advance, wherever they are.
"In addition to receiving the tickets by post, they will also have the option of collecting them in person from our new city centre shop which is due to open this summer."
The new online tickets cost £45 for adults for 30 days unlimited tram travel. Under 16s will be charged £22.50.
More online ticket options will be introduced later in the year.
