THE number of people claiming Jobseeker's Allowance in Nottingham has dropped for the fourth month in a row.
The total number of claimants in the city fell from 14,154 in April to 13,767 in May.
This is equivalent to 6.5 per cent of people in the city.
In the county, the figure also fell from 16,510 in April to 15,940 in May, equivalent to 3.2 per cent of the population.
Across the country, unemployment has fallen by 5,000 to 2.5 million and the numbers claiming Jobseeker's Allowance shrank by 8,600 last month to 1.5 million.
