A man and a woman have been arrested after activists scaled chimneys at West Burton power station.
The pair have been detained on suspicion of aggravated trespass after climbing down from the 300ft high smokestacks.
They are due to be questioned by police.
Five people were also arrested by police on Tuesday on suspicion of aggravated trespass, and have since been released on bail.
A further 14 people are believed to still be occupying the chimneys at the site, where they have been since the early hours of Monday.
The protesters have said they have enough supplies to last them a week and intend to stay up the chimneys for as long as possible.
They have now suspended a rope between two of the power station's three chimneys, which they have said will be used to pass supplies between the two groups of activists.
