JERMAINE Jenas will remain at Nottingham Forest for another two months, after agreeing to extend his loan spell at the City Ground.
The former England midfielder was keen to remain at the club where he began his career, after initially joining for a month from Spurs.
He will now be available until January, providing the Reds with a timely boost as they look to maintain their recent five-match unbeaten run.
Jenas, who will be available to face Millwall on Saturday, said he was delighted to have agreed the extension.
"It has just been great being here and this is what I wanted," he said. "I am just glad that the manager and the people behind the scenes have managed to get it done."
Manager Sean O'Driscoll said: "Jermaine has shown his quality every time he has come off the bench for us. We are happy to have him for another two months."
