Balderton woman admits £9,000 theft from Newark branch of international company

A WOMAN has admitted stealing more than £9,000 from an international company. Kate Bocock, 30, of Tenzing Walk, Balderton, stole the money from the Newark branch of Teleperformance. The company is a global customer service and technical support company with headquarters in Paris. At Nottingham Magistrates' Court, she admitted the theft of £9,510 from the company between April 9 and July 12. She also pleaded guilty to three charges of fraud. The charges relate to Bocock making false claims to Vodafone for iPhones on April 10, June 18 and July 11, on behalf of a company called Medtronic Limited, with the intention of selling them for personal gain. Sentencing was adjourned for a report to be prepared. Bocock is due to next appear at Nottingham Magistrates' Court on November 20.
