THE A1 has been fully reopened following a crash yesterday morning.
The incident at Claypole, south of Newark killed two people after a lorry and a van collided.
The van had been carrying gas cylinders which caught fire.
Both of the people who died were in the van while the lorry driver remained unhurt.
Six fire engines attended the scene.
Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
