DETECTIVES investigating the death of a 32-year-old man are trying to trace two potential witnesses.
Daniel Baker was found collapsed in Mansfield Road, South Normanton, at around 11.35pm on Friday.
He was taken to King's Mill Hospital where he was certified dead on arrival.
Ten minutes before his body was found, two men were seen walking down Storth Lane, before they turned right in to Mansfield Road.
Police are appealing for these two men to come forward as they may have vital information which will help the investigation.
A post mortem examination of Mr Baker, who lived in Derby, was carried out yesterday and revealed he died from a stab wound.
A 31-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman, who are both from South Normanton, were arrested yesterday in South Normanton on suspicion of murder.
They remain in custody and will be questioned again today.
