THE city was hit by flash flooding at rush hour after a rainstorm just before 5pm. See our gallery of pictures of the flooding below:
Water came through the roof at the Broadmarsh Centre and a number of streets turned into rivers as the deluge took place.
Mansfield Road, Haydn Road and Hucknall Road were all badly affected by the rainfall.
