A MAN and woman have appeared in court accused of murder, after a man was stabbed in the chest.
Leon Lockhart, 31, and Michaela Griffiths, 24, from South Normanton, are charged with the murder of Daniel Baker, from Derby.
They were remanded in custody this morning to attend a preliminary hearing at Nottingham Crown Court on August 7.
They are charged with the murder of Daniel Baker, 32, who was found in Mansfield Road, South Normanton, on Friday and pronounced dead at hospital.
He died of a stab wound. The weapon has not been found.
Police have been asking residents and dog walkers to check gardens and hedgerows for a weapon, believed to be a carving-type knife.
