FORTY firefighters in Worksop are tackling a blaze at a recycling centre.
The incident in Shireoaks Road was reported at about 4.38am today.
Eight fire engines are currently at the scene, including crews from Worksop, Retford, Harworth, Warsop, Edwinstowe and Maltby, in South Yorkshire.
The aerial ladder platform and command support unit is also in attendance.
Recycled materials are involved in the fire.
Shrieoaks Road is closed as a precaution and is likely to remain closed for the rest of the weekend.
A diversion is in place via the A57 and A60.
No one is believed to have been injured.
