POLICE say a "small number" of people have come forward with information about the unsolved murder of Omar Watson after a public appeal.
Mr Watson 24, was gunned down in a hair salon in Peveril Street, off Alfreton Road, Radford, on November 7, 2003.
Despite an extensive police investigation and a £10,000 reward, no one has been convicted of the murder.
On the tenth anniversary of his killing a fortnight ago his widow, Chantel, made a public appeal for new leads and spoke of the impact of her husband's death.
A force spokeswoman said yesterday "a small number of calls" came into the force after the appeal which were now being looked in to by detectives.
People are still being asked to contact police with information about the murder on 0115 844 6913 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
