A MAN'S body found in part of Derbyshire has been confirmed as that of missing police officer Tim Frohwein.
Chief Inspector Frohwein, whose patch included Amber Valley, was reported missing from his home in Buxton on November 17.
Derbyshire police revealed over the weekend that they had found a body in the Goyt Valley in the Peak District.
Formal identification has now taken place.
Mr Frohwein was found by friends of the family who had volunteered to help search for him. He was 48.
