THE news that Chris Cohen has been ruled out, for the rest of the season, with cruciate ligament damage is devastating. For the club, the fans and Chris himself, it is a massive blow.
Particularly as it is the second time in two years that he has suffered such bad luck.
He leads by example, he is a fantastic player, a massive fan favourite and always comes across as a genuinely nice guy. It is so cruel for it to happen to him again.
But if we know Cohen, we know he will probably come back quicker, stronger and fitter than before.
It now thrusts Dan Harding straight into the fray and I have every confidence in him to step up and make the position his own, without needing new blood.
Each time he has been called upon this season he has impressed me and now, more than ever, we need to get right behind him and support him in filling Cohen's boots.
We again didn't capitalise on home advantage against Burnley, but I'm confident that if we play in the same manner against Reading, we will come away with the three points we need.
Hopefully we can secure a win that we can dedicate to our captain.
