Pothole-riddled roads in a Notts village are to be repaired.
Residents in Brinsley have long campaigned for the surface of Brynsmoor Road and Queens Drive to be fixed.
John Booth, chairman of Brinsley Parish Council has previously claimed these two roads have potholes roughly every metre.
Notts County Council has now announced it will be carrying out resurfacing works in Brynsmoor Road, Queens Drive, Gladstone Drive and Kings Drive from next week.
The works also include repairs to some kerbing and footpaths.
It will mean the roads will be closed between 8am and 4pm daily from Thursday, December 5 until Friday, December 13.
