NOTTS County have been linked with a move for ex-Coventry defender Blair Adams.
Adams left the Sky Blues by mutual consent today making him a free agent.
The left-back is tipped to replace Alan Sheehan who left the club to join Bradford City last month.
Speaking on his decision to part company with Adams, Sky Blues boss Steven Pressley told the Coventry Telegraph: "This was a very difficult decision for me to make because Blair is a fantastic kid and his attitude and approach towards the game is first class.
"I feel that some tactical adjustments will limit his first team opportunities and it is only fair that we give him the chance to seek regular football elsewhere.
"He has been a pleasure to work with and we wish him the very best of luck for the future."
Former Sunderland defender Adams made 64 appearances for the Sky Blues.
