Nottinghamshire Police's Capture Bike has seen a thief jailed for a month.
Lee Love stole the bicycle from outside the David Lloyd gym in Rugby Road, West Bridgford, at around 2pm on Monday, June 16.
The bike had been fitted with a tracking device and officers soon caught up with Love in the Daleside Road area of Colwick.
The 35-year-old, of Fair Lea Close, Long Eaton, admitted theft at Nottingham Magistrates' Court and was locked up on Thursday for four weeks.
