As World Cup 2014 draws to an end, many are probably wondering which of the four remaining national football teams will be pronounced the winners at the end of Sunday's game at the Maracana stadium in Rio de Janeiro; with four strong teams heading towards the finals, predictions are all over the place.
It can be said that much of the competition has delivered surprising upsets and unlikely comebacks, with great players living up to expectations and some, not so much.
In the last couple of days, social media sites have been on full blast as many football fans expressed their disappointment in the semi-final game between Germany and the host team Brazil, who were thrashed 7- 1.
This result is reported to have been Brazil's worst ever defeat in their 100 years of international football.
And then last night Argentina came out on top following a very tedious match against a defensive Holland; after 120 slow minutes, the South American team won 4-2 in a penalty shoot out.
It is fair to say, anything can still happen.
