Three people have died after a multi-vehicle crash on the A1.
The smash, which police said involved "a number of vehicles", happened at 11.20pm yesterday on the southbound carriageway near Ranby.
The entire southbound side is closed from the A614 Bawtry Road junction in Blyth and Apleyhead in Hardwick Village. Diversions have been put in place.
One lane of the northbound carriageway is shut between Ranby and the A614 Bawtry Road junction in Blyth.
A police spokesman said the closures are likely to be in place "for several hours" as accident investigation work takes place.
