BURGLARS broke into a house and stole car keys before making off with the vehicle.
The Ford Mondeo – which was parked outside a house in Erewash Square, Ilkeston – was found burnt out in Bilborough in the early hours of Saturday, July 26.
Officers from Derbyshire Police believe the offenders sneaked into the property while the homeowners were in and took the car keys and a mobile phone.
They have now launched an appeal for more information.
