A CAT was rescued by firefighters after a fire broke out in a flat in Arnold.
Engines rushed to the blaze on the ground floor of the complex in Kilbourne Road at around 2.40am on Sunday August 3.
No one was hurt in the fire, but the animal was taken to safety by firefighters from Arnold and Carlton fire stations.
