The sun made a welcome appearance today with temperatures reaching pleasant highs of 22C.
This looks set to continue for Monday August 4 as the Met Office predicts sunshine for most of the day with only a slim chance of light short showers at around lunch time.
The warm weather will stay throughout the week but unfortunately the sunshine will not.
It is predicted showers will hit Nottingham on Wednesday afternoon with Thursday looking like a bit of a washout.
