In the days of social media, it seems that is no longer enough to simply get down on one knee and ask your partner to marry you.
Utpal Kanbia, 23, took to a North London park to propose to his girlfriend, Meena Rabadia.
The pair were spotted during the romantic engagement by Metropolitan police officers flying over Gladstone Park on August 23.
The police shared an image taken with thermal-imaging cameras of the candlelit proposal on their MPSintheSky Twitter.

Following a social media appeal, the duo came forward and anonymously announced on Twitter that they were now engaged.

The London Evening Standard revealed the couple's identity on August 27.
Utpal had planned for a group of friends to lay out hundreds of tealights in secret in the park where they had their first date six years ago.
In an interview with the Standard, Utpal said: "We heard the helicopter hovering overhead us and I started getting worried. I started thinking 'Are we allowed to do this sort of stuff in a public park? Are we breaking any laws?'"
His fiancée said: "As we got close I saw a group of boys with hoodies on, got scared and wanted to walk away.
"And then he got the ring out. He got down on his knees and he did it the way a man should do it."
