PAUL Cox has called on the Mansfield Town supporters to flock to the One Call Stadium and make their dream FA Cup tie with Liverpool a reality.
The Stags face a second round replay at home with Lincoln a week tomorrow, following a 3-3 draw at the weekend.
And, yesterday, the winner of that match was drawn out of the hat to face Premier League giants Liverpool on home soil in the third round in January.
It would certainly be a money-spinning television tie, against the former European champions and last season's FA Cup runners-up.
But first they have to take care of business, after only earning a replay through Matt Rhead's stoppage-time equaliser at Sincil Bank.
Cox said: "It is a dream draw, that's for sure. Outside of Manchester United, they are probably the biggest and most successful club out there.
"It would be a dream tie not just for the club and its supporters but the whole town.
"But we are well aware we have a replay to take care of first and it puts more emphasis and pressure on that game.
"It would be great to see a packed house for the replay as everybody knows what is at stake and what a great day that would be should we get through. The fans can get behind the lads, support them and push them over the line to ensure we face Liverpool."
