POLICE are hunting a group of youths who attacked a man in an attempted robbery in Mansfield.
Three boys and a girl approached the 22-year-old man as he walked through Westfield Lane alone shortly after midnight on Monday, November 26.
They grabbed his rucksack and his shoulder, causing him to fall to the ground. He was then punched and kicked and was told to hand over his belongings.
The victim managed to get to his feet and fled from the group.
Nothing was stolen but the man suffered bruising and grazing during the attack.
The youths all wore hooded jumpers.
