NOTTINGHAM Panthers have signed former Continental Cup winner Kelsey Wilson, who will be joining the team when his paperwork is finalised.
The 6ft 1in 26-year-old Canadian winger made his name in the highly-regarded American League, where he spent five years with Milwaukee and Toronto, collecting 106 points including 47 goals, alongside almost 800 penalty minutes.
In 2009/10 he played for Red Bull Salzburg and he was the most penalised player in Austria, with 231 minutes, as he helped them win the league championship.
He also scored the opening goal – on top of three minor penalties -- as Red Bull defeated Sheffield Steelers 6-1 on their way to winning the Continental Cup the same season.
