Nottinghamshire Police are looking to trace the rightful owners of more than 30 stolen power tools which have been recovered by officers following two burglaries.

The incidents took place in Church Laneham and at Laneham Street on Friday, August 19 and Monday, August 22, respectively.

A 41-year-old man from Carlton-in-Lindrick has been charged with two counts of burglary in connection with the incidents.

Officers seized over 30 items from the man's home. Some were identified and returned to the victims, whilst a number of items stolen in similar burglaries had been packaged and were being prepared to sell online.

Many of the items are heavy duty power tools, including a specialist pneumatic drill and a circular saw.

Some of the tools also use power supplies typical within the construction industry, rather than the traditional three-pin plugs used on domestic power tools.
